The Information Commission of the Progressive Socialist Party responded through its account on “Twitter” to what was stated by Representative Elias Hankash, by saying: “It would be nice if MP Elias Hankash told us when he was appointed governor by order of principles? The question is, is dialogue not a principle for you? Is preserving the country?” Is it not a principle for you, and is the search for how to save Lebanon not a principle for you?”
She added: “In any case, these are our constants and principles, and we leave you with whatever crumbs you want.”
In a televised statement commenting on the Jumblatt-Hezbollah meeting, MP Hanakash said that “there is a big difference between the principled Kataeb Party and the pragmatic Socialist Party. Its leader, Walid Jumblatt, works according to daily and immediate positions.”
