One of the most anticipated films of the autumn arrives in Lecco cinemas from Friday 4 October: the new chapter of Joker, not a real sequel but in any case a title of great interest. There is no shortage of other first screenings in the cinemas of Lecco and its province, while film festivals come into full swing.
The plot of Joker: Folie à Deux
Joker: Folie à deux sees Arthur Fleck interned in Arkham, awaiting trial for his crimes as the Joker. Grappling with his double identity, Arthur not only comes across true love, the ever-iconic Harley Quinn, here played by Lady Gaga, but also discovers the music he has always had inside of him.
In a claustrophobic environment (asylum and court) the film develops with new aspects of musicals, that is, with songs and choreography. For some critics it almost seems that Todd Phillips wants to regret the enormous success achieved by Joker, and by supporting the character’s nature, he intends to displace the viewer by triggering a self-destructive mechanism that will lead to the finale.
