“I’ve been embarrassed so much”
One of this week’s guests in “Renée’s bridge” 2024 is the influencer and actor Ellen Bergström. During the episode, she talks regarding the book release that never happened and why she hesitated to participate in the program.

“It was really hard to get here today”
During this week’s episode of Renée’s bridge guests none other than the comedian Marten Anderssonthe actor And Ekborg and the influencer and actor Ellen Bergstrom. During a joint lunch, the presenter claims Renée Nyberg that Ellen has written a book regarding her alcohol addiction, a claim that turns out to be false.
– No, I never wrote a book, because I began to believe that I might drink. So, then I called and said no, but there won’t be a book because now I’ve been sober for 5 years and now I think I can handle this sort of thing. Because I’ve had a glass and I didn’t feel like drinking more. And then some time passed, and the longer the time passed, the more I felt myself increasing the amount, from one glass to two glasses. So, I had decided that I will drink so much and I didn’t keep it. So then I just decided: enough. And that was yesterday, explains Ellen.
“I have no control”
The news regarding that it was as late as the day before recording Ellen coming to the conclusion that she cannot handle alcohol once more shocks the other participants who try to support by listening and showing empathy.
– It was very hard to get here today. I have been so ashamed of it, also this with the book. I had promised that I would publish a book and I get sent home a whole brochure with my face and my book cover and everything. I felt inside that no, but I’m not done, because I think I can drink like. The whole time there was something in me that I needed to be tested one more time, because I wanted to be sure. And so I did and no, I can’t. I have no control. It doesn’t work, and I don’t feel good regarding it, Ellen continues.
