Despite rumors regarding the possibility of the Ferrari team abandoning its approach to designing the sides of the car, and adopting a completely different design during the season so that the new design is similar to Red Bull, Vasseur confirmed that the team has a plan to develop the car intensively during the season, but without modifying the car’s design philosophy. , so there won’t be a completely different car.
Where Vasseur said: “We have many updates in the coming period, but not in the Baku race, as we have in that round aerodynamic parts with special specifications for that circuit to generate the appropriate levels of downforce, and there is a short race in Baku, and therefore it will be difficult to test the updates.”
He continued: “There will be updates and new pieces in Miami, Imola, and Barcelona. That’s the blueprint we want to stick to, and there will be some tweaks dedicated to improving the car’s balance and response, which are areas where we’ve made progress in Melbourne.”
He continued, “There will not be an entirely new car. The car will not be completely different. We will continue to update the current car and try to take an intensive developmental approach during the season.”
