The National Road Safety Agency (ANSV) introduced modifications in the process of obtaining the driver’s licenseand one of these changes affects the young people up to 21 years old who wish to obtain their first registration.

From now on it will be mandatory to complete the online course “My first license” to be able to move forward with the process. Course that came into effect on Thursday, September 21.

The measure is focused solely on applicants between 16 and 21 years oldwith the aim of guaranteeing that these young people acquire the necessary knowledge before taking the theoretical exam required to obtain your driver’s license.

The course is completely online and consists of five modules including readings, infographics and animations. These modules address a wide range of topics related to obtaining a driver’s license, including information on safety elements for vehicles, safe and efficient driving, risk factors, psychophysical conditions of the driver, gender perspectiveroad safety initiatives such as yellow stars, and signs and Traffic Laws.

Course attendance will be mandatoryand the modules will be correlatives, that is, there is no possibility of advancing to the next one without having finished the previous one. Once the event is over, participants will be able to download a certificate that will prove your participation. This certificate must be presented in the following stages in order to continue with the process.

How to take the “My first license” course

Users interested in obtaining their first National Driver’s License must have a user previously registered in the My Argentina application.
