There were 3: Banksy monkeys on London bridge

The artwork shows three monkeys on a railway bridge. The animals were painted in black paint on a bridge on London’s Brick Lane, reported the British news agency PA. It looks as if they are hanging on the railway bridge in the east of the British capital.

Banksy, whose identity remains secret, had previously published images of two other works. They show the outlines of an ibex and two elephants. The artist usually announces with such Instagram posts when a work is his. However, he did not publish any captions or titles.

British media speculated what the animal images could mean. Three monkeys are associated with the Japanese proverb “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,” reported PA. The BBC quoted an expert who believes it could be the start of a larger campaign.
