We have previously commented on the Twitter user “Toro Inoue (@g6xa3awstGCEljS)“, which acquires the Blu-ray/DVD compilation packages of the most representative anime projects (or your personal taste) of each season and compare if there were any changes or modifications to the content. This time it was the turn of the third anime package Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling).
This package includes the fifth and sixth episodes, and It is in the sixth where the scene occurs where Wakana Gojou finds Sajuna “Juju” Inui completely naked in her bathroom.. Some were hopeful that the physical packaged version “remove the censorship from the original scene“, since the same scene in Chapter 16 of the original manga showed more of Inui’s body, specifically his nipples (click to see the original uncensored panels image 1, image 2)
But “Inoue Toro“, the user in question, quickly dashed these hopes, writing in his review: «It seems that there are no modifications. The locker room does not seem to have additions either». The user added a gray filter to avoid being flagged on his public Twitter account, or rather so that he might not be reported for posting nudes.
The series Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru premiered on January 8 in Japan and had a total of twelve episodes, while the platforms Crunchyroll y Funimation are responsible for its distribution in the West, also with a dubbing into Latin Spanish. For its part, Shinichi Fukuda publish the manga in the magazine Young Gangan from the publisher Square Enix since January 2018.

Engrossed in the family business of traditional doll making, Wakana Gojou is a reserved first-year high school student with no friends. With the painful memory of a childhood friend’s disdain for his interest, Gojou can’t relate to his classmates and his hobbies, causing him to isolate himself. Gojou has not yet perfected the making of the dolls’ faces, but he is exceptionally skilled at making his clothes. His skill with the sewing machine is soon discovered by his beautiful classmate Marin Kitagawa, whose boldness and honesty Gojou both admires and envies. She instantly shares his own hobby with Gojou: he likes to dress up as erotic video game characters.
However, Kitagawa does not know how to sew her own suits, which leads her to seek Gojou’s expertise. Being drawn into the lovely girl’s endless adventures related to cosplay, Ella Kitagawa becomes the first friend of hers who fully accepts her. Thus, although they are polar opposites, their relationship slowly flourishes thanks to her ability to help each other in the intricate world of cosplay.
