“How lax the controls are. We might have brought a bomb.” Words more, words less, those were the statements that, yesterday morning, a stewardess heard from the mouths of two citizens of Peruvian nationality.
These people were regarding to board a plane that was regarding to take off from Córdoba Capital to the city of Lima. It was 8 o’clock at the Taravella airport.
By protocol, the flight attendant communicated what she heard to her superiors who, in turn, reported everything to the Airport Security Police. Personnel from the Provincial Police Explosives Brigade were also summoned.
The flight, where there were a hundred people, was delayed while the Boeing was thoroughly checked by police officers and dogs.
Fortunately, nothing at all was found. It was a false alarm.
The two people were identified. Due to what happened, a case was opened in Federal Court 3 of Córdoba. “There are no charges,” said a source from the Courts.
