As had been announced on Wednesday and following several hours of cuts in the accesses to the oil waste treaters and in front of the entrance to the Mari Menuco Club, This Thursday a technical table was held between the government of Neuquén and the Mapuche Confederation. The meeting between the parties failed and the continuity of the blockades was confirmed.
The claims of the communities have to do with the proposal on contamination by fracking in the oil zone and the demand to the provincial government and the National Institute of Indigenous Affairs (INAI) the presentation of the folder of the survey of the territories carried out almost a year ago.
Having failed the meeting, the communities that make up the Zonal XawvnKo of the confederation meeting in (xawvn) determined to keep the cut once morest the Mari Menuco club and they announced that other actions will be determined for Friday.

The blockades began yesterday and led to a bilateral meeting that was unsuccessful
The Mapuche Confederation had informed this Wednesday that the technical table was agreed following the blockades in the accesses to the company and the club. On that occasion, the Minister of Tourism Sandro Badilla and the State Attorney Mr. Gaitán had been present.. Both officials promised to be part of the bilateral meeting.
At the same time, the participation of the Attorney General Mr. José Geréz was agreed, in order to resolve the mapping of the survey and the missing technical folders with the participation of the communities (Lof Kaxipayiñ, Lof Newen Mapu, Lof Puel Pvjv).
In that instance, the provincial government also promised to prioritize Lof Campo Maripe and Lof Wirkalew in the February-March schedule, with the agreement of INAI.
Despite the established terms, The dialogue table of the last hours did not progress this Thursday and the measure of force was reinforced.
