The Pont du Sart roadway in Houdeng-Aimeries was once once more the scene of a terrible road accident, this Saturday evening, around 9 p.m. The driver, a man in his 50s, lost control of his vehicle following hitting the curb that delimits the bus stop.
After having rolled over, he found himself in front of the facade of Francette, snatching his letterbox in the process. The passenger compartment of the car being too damaged, the firefighters had to cut the roof in order to extract the driver.
“I was scared,” recalls Francette, “when I opened my door, I saw a little baby comforter right there, in the middle of the pieces of glass…”
