There should be no amnesty for those who incite violence through social media, Interior Minister – Pakistan

Effective border management and measures to deal with illegal immigrants were also discussed in the meeting, while issues of training of Pakistani police officers in the UK were also discussed.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated Yvette Cooper on assuming the post of British Home Secretary and wished her well.

Mohsin Naqvi said that it would be a pleasure if Pakistani police officers receive regular training in the United Kingdom, and would welcome the cooperation of the United Kingdom in this regard. It is necessary to increase mutual cooperation to combat illegal immigration.

The Federal Minister of Interior further said that developed countries and developing countries should take joint measures in this regard, want to increase cooperation with Britain in terms of border management, legal assistance in criminal cases and dealing with illegal immigration.

He said that there should be no apology for those who incite violence through social media, those who incite people to violent incidents are condemnable.

The British Home Minister said that Britain attaches great importance to relations with Pakistan and will continue to cooperate with Pakistan in various fields.
