National Highway reported in the report issued this morning that the most affected areas of the route south of Bariloche are Cañadón de la Mosca, Pampa del Toro and El Foyel.
It is expected that the snowfall in the high areas will continue intermittently and with different intensities until tomorrow, and then a front with strong frosts will enter, which will also affect traffic conditions in the Río Negro mountain range.
Road teams are in the section of Route 40 working on clearing the road to guarantee vehicular circulation.
In the Siete Lagos section this Wednesday began in the area of San Martín de los Andes, Río Hermoso and Pichi Traful. There is accumulation of snow on the road and sectors with ice, according to the National Highway that works with teams in the area.
This route has passable conditions with extreme caution, mandatory carrying of chains.
Meanwhile, on Route 23, extreme precautionary measures are requested between Dina Huapi and Comallo, due to the presence of sections with low adherence due to the presence of snow on the road.
National Highway asks drivers to avoid overtaking maneuvers when adhesion conditions are not good and not stop on the road. Also, keep the low beams on and verify that all the occupants of the vehicle are wearing the seat belt correctly.
