The Copa America is now in the quarter-finals, and one element of the competition won’t come into play until the final: extra time.

There is still no overtime in the knockout stages of the America’s Cup. On the contrary, if the 90 minutes of regular time plus injury time fail to determine the result of the game, it will directly enter a penalty shootout. Tie games will not go to overtime except for the championship game on July 14 (8 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app).

In the group stage, Argentina and Canada qualified from Group A; Group B Venezuela and Ecuador qualified; Group C Uruguay and Panama qualified; Colombia and Brazil qualified from Group D.
