There is no information that the Ukrainian president will invade Russia 100

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said there was no “confirmed information” that Russia would invade.

It is interpreted as an attempt to prevent an atmosphere of fear or social chaos caused by excessive concerns regarding a Russian invasion.

According to Sputnik News, President Zelensky said at a press briefing on the 12th (local time) that “too much information is being circulated regarding the possibility of a full-scale Russian invasion.”

“We are receiving a large amount of information from our allies, including the United States, and we are paying attention to all information,” Zelensky said.

“It is true that there is a possibility of a Russian invasion,” he added, “but there is currently no all-out war in Ukraine.”

Earlier, US political media outlet Politico reported that US President Joe Biden had suggested the start date for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine to be the 16th in a videoconference with European leaders on the 11th.

Russia, which annexed Ukraine’s Crimea peninsula by force in 2014, has deployed regarding 130,000 troops to the border with Ukraine since the end of last year.

The West is stepping up its military support for Ukraine, believing that Russia might invade Ukraine in the near future.
