With the passage of the first 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan, healthy habits remain the center of attention for those who are fasting.
In this context, Lebanese nutritionist Carla Habib Murad stressed that milk is the best drink during the holy month.
And she added in a video she posted on Instagram, that milk contains all the necessary minerals, so it is the best drink ever and has no competitor.
Two pieces of dates
She also indicated the importance of eating two pieces of dates to ensure the balance of the sugar level in the body.
Science has proven that breaking the fast with dates is one of the healthy habits that it is recommended to follow following long hours of fasting, because it is rich in fiber, potassium and other nutrients that the body often lacks during the day.
Dates are also easy to digest and give the fasting person a feeling of energy and satiety following a few minutes of eating it.
It is mentioned that the most important rules of comfortable fasting are to stay away from eating sugar and replace it with fresh fruits that contain nutrients that counteract the feeling of thirst.
Also, be sure to eat fresh vegetables on the breakfast and suhoor table, as they contain fiber to avoid feeling thirsty because they remain for a long time in the stomach.
