There is a stir in a clip of a father using a plane to fly his daughter home for Tet

Wang (residing in Anhui province, eastern China), a pilot training expert, and his 7-year-old daughter used a 2-seat plane to return home during Tet this year.

Previously, on holidays and Tet, Wang and his daughter always traveled home this way to avoid traffic jams. However, immediately following the clip appeared on social networks, many people expressed interest and wished to be Wang’s daughter.

It took them 50 minutes to get to Wang’s parents’ house, 2 hours faster than going by car. His daughter is used to this so she often takes a nap during the flight.

To keep things safe, Wang said he had to register to use the flight route a few hours in advance and check to see if he was allowed to park the plane near his parents’ house.

The plane he used cost 1.1 million yuan (regarding 3.7 billion VND) and might fly a distance of 1,200km when filled with fuel.

In China, the spring festival tourism “fever” is considered the largest migration of the year in the world. According to China’s Ministry of Tourism, there were regarding 9 billion passenger movements during this period.

This number is nearly double compared to last year’s Lunar New Year (4.7 billion) and 9 times higher than in 2022.

According to the Ministry of Transport, an estimated 7.2 billion trips are self-driving, with the remaining 1.8 billion trips made by public transport on trains, buses, planes and boats.
