There is a new general director of technological education in Hidalgo

Through a formal ceremony held at the CBTIS 222 facilities in Pachuca, Miguel Ángel Núñez Pérez was sworn in as the new commissioner responsible for the General Directorate of Industrial Technological Education (DGETI) in the state.

The above, replacing Emilio Cruz, who since 1985 sought the growth of this system, achieving the registration of 319 schools of the 456 that exist in the entity.

At the time, the new person in charge promised to continue with the work done so far, ensuring that he will take the students as the guiding axis of his actions.

He highlighted “we seek to continue promoting technological and industrial education in Hidalgo, through inter-institutional support.”

For his part, Jesús López Serrano, head of the Educational Liaison Office of the Government of Mexico in the state of Hidalgo, expressed his willingness to work in coordination with the new head of the DGETI.

While Alejandro Samuel Colín Ramírez, National Coordinator of the College of Scientific and Technological Studies (CECyTEs), proposed generating state and national competitions with the purpose of increasing the educational level in the region.
