Policy of posting of officers in Balochistan

The Prime Minister said in the meeting that a policy has been made regarding the appointment of officers in Balochistan, which the federal and provincial governments have to follow.

“It is necessary to appoint competent and talented officers in Balochistan.”

Shahbaz Sharif said that ‘Unfortunately, there is an impression that civil officers shy away from coming to Balochistan.’

The Prime Minister said that 48 Common Training Program officers will be posted in Balochistan.

Half of the officers of the ’48 Common Training Program will be deployed immediately for one year. 48 Other officers of the Common Training Program will be posted for one year after six months.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Balochistan’s share in National Finance Award (NFC) has been doubled.

The Prime Minister said that the blood of martyrs will not go in vain.

Extraordinary security arrangements were made in Quetta city for this meeting and the law enforcement agencies also appealed to the people for their cooperation.

Yesterday Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the government has taken steps for the welfare of the youth in the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, while distributing the scholarship checks to the students under the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund in Quetta, he said that the government will bear the education expenses of the students for the next 16 years.

The Chief Minister said that 30,000 skilled youths will be sent abroad for employment to increase the economic prospects of their families.

He further said that the government will provide loans under Akhut program to make unemployed youth self-reliant.

He said that the government is also taking steps for the development of minorities in the province.

On Tuesday, he said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will visit Balochistan and an apex committee meeting will be held to deal with these challenges. The provincial government is determined to restore peace.
