“There is a countdown”

The singer knows that everything can stop tomorrow.

It’s no longer a secret, Hoshi suffers from Meniere’s disease whose symptoms result in hearing problems accompanied by tinnitus or loss of balance. So the singer placed herself in a kind of emergency. She knows that she will not be able to continue the concerts all her life. So she decided not to get off stage as long as she might still continue, while arranging rest periods to leave her body and especially her ears alone. She explained her point of view in the columns of Gala as his new single, “Allez là” is released and expresses a desire to make the most of his audience.

That’s why I don’t want to take a break, contrary to my manager’s recommendations. There is a bit of this urgency, because I don’t know how long I can go on to defend my songs on stage. Afterwards, in the studio, it will be another job. As for the scene, there is a countdown and it is not known when the end will be. It might be several years from now it can go downhill in a few months.”

During one of his recent concerts in Switzerland, the public applauded him in sign language to show him all their support and all their love.

It must be said that the young singer is very handicapped by this disease as she had explained in the program “C à vous” in April 2021.

“It’s a really daily fight because once more this morning, I got up, I had dizziness because of the inner ear. (…) And it’s everyday and it’s hard because it’s hard to explain, even for the people around us, because it can’t be seen. It’s like a child who is in pain and who can’t say because he can’t speak, well, c is a bit like that.”

We wish him to be able to continue to go on stage for many more years.
