The Public Employment Agency of the Seine announced that there are job offers for workers in the health sector in the United States with salaries that exceed eight million pesos.

According to the entity, a health company in this country is looking for 10 Colombians who want to work in the city of Carrington, in the state of North Dakota, with the position of nursing assistants.

Candidates must have at least an intermediate level of English, but the entity clarified that it is vitally important to meet all the requirements demanded by the company before applying for the position.

First of all, applicants must have an academic training as a nursing technician or technologist or nursing assistant and have at least one year of experience in their profession.

Likewise, it is required to have the following skills to treat patients:

  • Promote social relationships and closeness to keep mental health active.
  • Take charge of helping to give them meals.
  • Technical nursing skills for geriatrics.
  • Must possess maturity, emotional stability, and critical judgment to help the older adult.
  • Channel the health difficulties of patients and promote their well-being.

The Sena also explains that the monthly salary is 2,115 dollars, equivalent to 8,461,107 Colombian pesos with a fixed-term contract and a 40-hour weekly schedule under the 24-hour shift modality from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Those interested must register their resume on the website of the Public Employment Agency of the Seine and apply for the vacancy. The company will proceed to verify the profile, interview the applicant and carry out a technical test.

The entity also assured that, if necessary, the contracting company may ask people for immigration documents to confirm the contract.

The call will be open until May 8 or until the number of candidates that the company needs is met.

More than 1,000 administrative career vacancies at the CNSC
