At today’s national audit by the Education Committee, a new suspicion of ‘falsification’ of Kim’s thesis was raised.
In addition to the dissertation that was previously suspected of plagiarism, it was alleged that Mrs. Kim copied a dissertation from a completely different field.

A paper written by three people including Seol Mo in 2008 and published in the Journal of the Korean Physical Education Association and a paper presented in 2009 by Kun-hee Kim at the Korean Society of Design Trends.
Although the fields are completely different, the title of ‘Effect on satisfaction of using golf driving range and repurchase factors’ has changed only to ‘Digital Content’.
The number of study subjects is also the same at 290.
However, in the ‘Golf Driving Range’ thesis, there were 182 men and 108 women.
In Kim’s thesis, there were 108 men and 182 women.
The numbers by age group are the same, only the order has changed.
A 2005 ‘Real Estate archyde news’ thesis and a 2008 ‘Dance Performance’ thesis written by different authors.
The research subjects and figures appearing in these papers appear as they are in the ‘design’-related papers written by Kun-hee Kim in 2009.
Seo Dong-yong, a member of the National Assembly Education Committee of the Democratic Party of Korea, raised suspicions that Mrs. Kim copied other people’s papers.

“It is a forged paper that has been fabricated as if it had conducted an experimental study that was not completely false, beyond a plagiarized paper that was used or partially modified without acknowledgment of the source.”
Rep. Seo argued that it was necessary to verify whether Mrs. Kim used the papers as research results.
Two professors who were commissioned by MBC to review the thesis also said that there seems to be a possibility of research denial.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever seen a complete copy of a paper from another field. It’s really, really, really, really, really, really hard to get experimental results that are so similar.”
People’s Power members argued that the discussion itself was meaningless, saying, “Mrs. Kim was not in a public position at the time.”
The Ministry of Education replied, “The responsibility for verifying an individual’s thesis lies with the academic society that published the thesis,” and the presidential office did not take a position.
