Al-Marsad Newspaper: The media, Ali Al-Shamali, documented a video clip showing the extravagance on occasions.

Al-Shamali commented, on the video, saying: “See the extravagance, approximately 5 notes on 5 plates, and no less than 50 flattened ones.”

He asked, saying: “Is this the generosity of existence?” He added: “This is extravagance itself.”

And he continued: “No matter how this food and leftovers arrive and not throw it away and deliver it to the poor and needy, it enters other than it into the door of extravagance and waste, because of which we may fear God’s wrath by being a reason for the demise of these blessings from our hands.”

He continued: “Preachers, preachers and scholars must advise them, with conclusive evidence, to ban this great extravagance, which is considered a competition among themselves as to which is the greatest occasion and feast,” commenting: “There are poor countries that wish for a grain of rice.”
