Full version of Tarun Murthy’s Facebook post;

There is a lot of joy and even more pride when seeing the audience approaching the actor Luqman. It’s not just one actor who weaves all the excitement and unda, jawa and thallumala. The joy and excitement of becoming an actor is also the dream of a group of aspiring actors. Lukman and I only had the experience of attending auditions together in the past. But when I decided to do the first film, I don’t know what made me think to make him one of the heroes. I don’t know why. When we joined Vinaya Dasan in Operation Java, neither of us knew that this was the beginning of a big journey.

Even though Jawa was a success, there were people who complained when they came to know that Luqman was the hero in the second film, Saudi Vellaka, and there were people who said that it was my arrogance and this is what I have to say to them. Not arrogance but pride. Faces matching the character can be found. Being able to make a movie with them. Its every progress can be seen. Because for us cinema is not just a business but also an art.
