There are no talks with TTP: Spokesperson of Foreign Office

Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that Pakistan is not negotiating with the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He said that Pakistan wants to end all types of terrorism, if Afghanistan is found involved in the Daso attack, then Pakistan will take up this matter with them.

While giving a weekly press briefing in Islamabad, he said that we expect the Afghan administration to take action once morest the outlawed TTP.

Talking regarding the attack on Chinese residents in Bisham, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the law enforcement agencies are investigating the matter and will inform the media as soon as the investigation is completed.

He said that following the Dasu attack, a Chinese security delegation visited Pakistan, this delegation was headed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the purpose of this visit was to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan’s position regarding terrorism is clear, Pakistan wants to end all types of terrorism, if Afghanistan is found involved in this attack, then Pakistan will take up this matter with them.

He further said that the dates for the Prime Minister’s visit to China have not been decided yet.

‘Pakistan and Iran have restored all communication channels’

Regarding Pakistan-Iran relations, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan and Iran have restored all communication channels, there is deep cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in terms of trade, but there is no final date for the visit of the President of Iran. However, the Iranian president is expected to visit soon.

Condemning the attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, he said, “We offer our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the people and the government of Iran. This attack is an unacceptable violation of Syria’s sovereignty and its Harms stability and security.

‘Pakistan submits resolutions on Palestine every year’

Spokesperson of the Foreign Office added that Pakistan records its serious concerns on the terrible situation of Occupied Palestine and submits resolutions on Palestine every year. They demand the implementation of the upcoming decision.

He demanded that Israel be held accountable for defying the orders of the International Court of Justice.

The spokesperson said that the Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir have been facing Indian atrocities for many years, Pakistan wants to solve the problem of Jammu and Kashmir according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people and the United Nations resolutions.

He further informed that the Secretary Security Division attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) security meeting in Astana and discussed the situation in Afghanistan, cyber security and other issues with the SCO member countries.
