Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Health records 200,131 consultations carried out since the implementation of the night clinics, successfully carried out in 32 hospitals, since August of last year.
The initiative, known as “Night Clinics”, is making a significant difference in access to medical care for citizens who find it difficult to attend the morning and followingnoon shifts.
With a total of 200,131 services provided since their implementation, the night clinics offer citizens the opportunity to consult with specialist doctors at times that adapt to their daily activities.
This service is available from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in 32 hospitals dependent on the Ministry of Health.
The specialties available in these offices include pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, dentistry, medical clinic and surgery, with the aim of meeting the medical needs of the population during extended hours.
This not only helps decongest emergency areas, but also optimizes assistance to cases that require immediate attention and significantly reduces waiting times.
The Ministry of Health calls on the population to take advantage of these night clinics both to carry out periodic check-ups and to consult in cases of symptoms of illness.
The presence of specialists during these extended hours guarantees quality and timely medical care, reported from the health portfolio.
