After 14 years of marriage and together, Nikolaos and Tatiana Blatnik announced that they are getting a divorce.
Yesterday’s announcement that Nikolaos and Tatiana Blatnik are divorcing came as a bombshell, as no one expected the divorce.
“Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana, following fourteen years of living together, have decided to dissolve their marriage. Both express the difficulty of this decision, the deep appreciation and respect they have for each other, but also the love with which they have walked all these years.
The same values of respect and understanding will form the basis of their relationship in the future, a relationship of deep and sincere friendship. They will continue to live and be active in Greece, the place they both feel at home. Family will always be by their side. Thank you very much for your respect and discretion” said the announcement published on the website of the Greek royal family, through which the news of the separation became known.
There was no indication that the couple would go their separate ways. In fact, the last joint photo of the former couple was at Christmas 2023 where Nikolas and Tatiana Blatnik posed for the camera with wide smiles.
The couple did not hesitate to share their shared moments on social media. Last summer, Tatiana Blatnik made a tender post for Nikolaos’ birthday, uploading a photo from their summer vacation in the Greek islands.
