Imagine. You let your dog out in the yard, you leave the door open so that he can come in alone, but when he pokes his nose into the living room, he has a friend following him, and quite a moose!
This is what happened to a couple in Alaska. “I must have looked at him for 3 or 4 seconds before I really understood that he was in the house,” says Barbara Nickels with a laugh. For his part, her husband thought he was dreaming when he saw the beautiful animal.
“I got up and took regarding two steps and realized there was a huge moose in my house that had just followed Jesse” my dog, recalls the American. Mrs. Nickels then lets out a loud cry.
Obviously, the moose doesn’t care and he’s hungry. He started eating all the plants he found at the Nickels.

“He was enjoying the salad bar,” Ms. Nickels adds jokingly.
She calls the police who advises her to put a chair in the hallway to try to keep the animal away.
Mrs. Nickels considers the solution ridiculous. “It’s like throwing a toothpick at a giant, isn’t it?” she says.
An officer finally intervened. He turned on his Taser over the kitchen sink very close to the beast. “Just for the sound it makes,” explains Barbara Nickels. The animal did not receive an electric shock.

The other police officer yelled to scare the moose which was a little startled.
It seems that on leaving the house the moose had a little snack.
“On leaving, he managed to take two vines from my vine,” says Ms. Nickels.
The moose returned to where it came from following spending some time around the property.
As for the Nickels, they’re not regarding to leave their door open unattended once more.
