Theft of a mobile phone kills an Egyptian worker… and the son of an accused parliamentarian!

The security services of the Ministry of Interior in Egypt have arrested the son of MP Muhammad Al-Husseini and his nephew, who are accused of killing a cleaning worker in the Boulaq El-Dakrour area in Giza governorate.

In the details, investigations revealed the reasons for accusing the parliamentarian’s son, along with two other people, of causing the worker’s death, according to local media reports, on Tuesday.

Theft accusation claimed the life of the worker

She explained that a verbal altercation erupted between the three defendants and the garbage worker over his accusation of stealing the attorney’s son’s mobile phone 3 days ago.

It also continued that witnesses confirmed the involvement of the parliament’s nephew in beating the worker, as he hit him in the head and fell unconscious, on Monday, until his death was announced from the hospital.

Report to the police

It is noteworthy that the Boulaq El-Dakrour Police Department in Giza Governorate had received a report that 3 people had beaten a garbage collector last Saturday, before he died on the third day of his injuries.

Giza Investigations moved to the location of the report, and the surveillance cameras were seized at the scene of the accident, in preparation for their unloading to ascertain the extent to which the parliamentarian’s son was involved in the crime.
