After exactly 24 hours of research, the news broke: N. will not be returning home. This young 20-year-old Freiburg had disappeared since Saturday 6 p.m. He had gone to watch the ski race with friends, and had missed the bus home, then heavily drunk. He did not give any news therefollowing. His cell phone had run out of battery and his bank cards were found in a bar in the village.

The young man, a resident of Châtel Saint-Denis, was found lifeless on Sunday around 7 p.m., probably due to hypothermia. According to “La Liberté”, he was found behind a building near the bus parking lot, almost invisible. “He must have spent the night in the cold,” recalls his father.

About thirty Châtelois had come to help the parents of the young man in their research through Adelboden, indicates the log. A call for witnesses was also widely shared on social networks. The cantonal police, she had mobilized dogs, drone, thermal camera and helicopter to find him. In vain.
