The lifeless body of a young man in his twenties was found on the night of Tuesday May 3 to Wednesday May 4, under a bridge in Louvain-la-Neuve. His death, considered suspicious, might be the result of a road accident, now indicates the Brabant Walloon investigating judge in charge of the case.
The police were notified, on Wednesday May 4 shortly following 1:00 a.m., of the presence of a human body under a bridge which overhangs the national 238, near the rue de l’Invasion, west of Louvain- the new one. It was a passerby who made the discovery. The deceased whose face was marked by several wounds is a young man in his twenties. The investigation and forensic analyzes suggest that the young man might have been hit by a vehicle traveling on the national road, in the direction of Wavre, between Tuesday May 3 around 11:00 p.m. and Wednesday May 4 around 1:15 a.m. A search notice was launched Wednesday evening by the judicial authorities, with a view to collecting possible testimonies.
