The young downhill world champion in Californian woods

Jackson Goldstone is an absolutely exceptional talent, he has probably already proven enough that he is also mega stylish on the go, nobody can deny. Nevertheless, one should always keep the latter in mind, which is probably why Santa Cruz Bicycles shot the current video with the young Downhill World Cup Champion. Enjoy smooth heating through California forests.

Junior Downhill World Champion Jackson Goldstone is at his best, banging away in style on Californian trails that Santa Cruz says are privately owned and hidden somewhere in the mountains surrounding their headquarters. In 2022, the newly crowned world champion, who also secured the UCI Junior World Cup overall victory in his first season, will join the glorious Santa Cruz Syndicate. He will start together with the legend Greg Minnaar, the two separate a good 22 years, amazing!

Together with Nina Hoffmann and Laurie Greenland, the four form the 2022 downhill team, of course supervised and advised by none other than Steve Peat, who is primarily responsible for choosing the right line on race day. With the move to the Syndicate, Jackson Goldstone is also saying goodbye to his longtime sponsor Trek. If you want to know more regarding the reorganization of the Syndicate, you should take a look at our recently published article: (Almost) everything new in the Santa Cruz Syndicate.

What do you think of Jackson Goldstone’s talent, will he be the future Elite Downhill Champion?
