The Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro are official

Xiaomi’s latest flagship killer devices have finally been officially unveiled. The 14T and 14T Pro models came with a Dimensity chip, a triple camera image recording system and a brighter display than their predecessors.

The outer cover of the smartphones meets the requirements of the IP68 certification, which means that both new models will be perfectly resistant to dust and water. The size of the display remains the same, the novelties get a 6.67-inch, 144 Hz display, and this time the AMOLED panels are capable of a brightness of up to 4000 nits. The resolution – 1220p – is also the same on the devices, the difference will be more apparent behind the screen and on the back.

The basic model is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra, while the Pro edition is powered by Dimensity 9300+. The battery capacity for both devices is 5000 mAh, but the charging speed is not the same, the owners of the basic model can replace the lost energy with a maximum of 67 watts, and they have to completely give up on induction solutions. The 14T Pro, on the other hand, can be powered with 120 watts and supports wireless charging up to 50 watts.

The back of the Xiaomi 14T is completely flat, while that of the 14T Pro is slightly curved. Obviously, the latter gets the more convincing cameras, which is headed by a 50-megapixel, 1/1.31-inch Light Fusion 900 sensor module with optical image stabilization and f/1.6 aperture. The kit also includes a 50-megapixel telephoto unit with 2.6x optical zoom, as well as a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The selfie camera is 32 megapixels.

On the back of the Xiaomi 14T, the leading role is played by a 50-megapixel, but smaller, 1/1.56-inch image recorder based on the Sony IMX906 module, and although the telephoto camera is also 50 megapixels, its focal length is only 50 mm instead of 60 (that is the optical zoom is a little smaller, roughly 2.2x). The 12 megapixel ultra-wide module is also available on this model.

All of the Xiaomi 14T devices run HyperOS, which includes Google Gemini and several advanced artificial intelligence functions, so Circle Search is also available on mobiles.

The Xiaomi 14T is sold in titanium gray, titanium black and titanium blue shades, along with a green leatherette version. The 8/256 GB package starts at 650 euros, which is roughly HUF 258,000. The Xiaomi 14T Pro is available in titanium gray, titanium black and titanium blue colors, with a starting price of 800 euros – which is roughly HUF 317,000 – for this amount, 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage are included.
