Ciudad Juarez, Chih. (UACJ) – The Gracia Pasquel Theater of the University Cultural Center (CCU), was the stage to start the activities of the XI Congress of the Mexican Association of Oral Pathology and Medicine, Colegio AC, which will take place from September 29 to October 1. .
At the opening ceremony, the teacher Sergio Alonso Soltero Herrera, head of the Department of Stomatology of the UACJ, welcomed and thanked the members that make up the civil association for having chosen this border school as the national headquarters, without ruling out the recognition public to doctors Juan Carlos Cuevas and Alejandro Donohue, who helped organize the event.
“That continuous synergy that has been forming between universities, colleges and associations, which has given us many strengths, because most of us share the same objectives: to train comprehensive people in the area of pathology, since a diagnosis and a Early treatment will help us improve the quality of life of our patients”, pointed out Soltero Herrera.
In turn, the president of the Mexican Association of Oral Pathology and Medicine, Colegio AC, Dr. Luis Edmundo Calixto Martínez, said that, when delving into pathology, it can be determined “as an arid science: it is to kill oneself in the studies , is to enter with the cells and understand them so that they tell us the truth. That is why it is important to learn from this universe in which it will give us the ability to diagnose cancer, a malignant vision, and thus be able to cure it early”.

Dr. Daniel Constandse Cortez, General Secretary of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez, made the opening declaration of the event.

In addition, this parliament will feature the participation of globally recognized speakers such as Dr. Ioannis Koutlas, director of the Oral Pathology Laboratory of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry; as well as that of Dr. Márcio A. Lopes, full professor of the Department of Oral Diagnosis, of the School of Dentistry of Piracicaba-UNICAMP.
