On the 31st (local time), a resident living near the X headquarters in San Francisco shared a video of the ‘X’ structure across from his house emitting strong light even in the middle of the night.
He said, “Imagine no more. This is my life now,” he wrote, complaining of the inconvenience caused by the installation of structures on the X side.
In another video he uploaded, the ‘X’ structure blinked non-stop and the light shooting through the window was included in the house.

Another resident also posted a picture from the street of the ‘X’ structure’s light flickering and reflecting off the entire building across the street, saying, “I’m extremely angry. Imagine having an ‘X’ sign across from your bedroom,” he complained.
After complaints from residents, the city authorities launched an investigation and notified that the structure was in violation of regulations. In the end, X went into demolition work following three days of installing the large structure.
The city said it received regarding 10 complaints from residents who said the structure was installed without permission and that it was difficult to sleep due to the strong flickering lights.
CNBC reported that the X may not be completely demolishing the structure, but may be temporarily dismantling it for repair work or city approval.

Previously, on his X account, Musk posted a video of the ‘X’ structure emitting light on the roof of the headquarters with the street in front of the yellow light, saying, “Our headquarters in San Francisco tonight.”
