On Friday, the Kuwaiti artist, Abdul Karim Abdul Qadir, died at the age of 80, following a struggle with illness.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Information mourned the artist Abdel-Qader, who was nicknamed “The Wounded Voice,” noting that he was “one of the most influential artists in the Kuwaiti and Arab art scene, according to what was published by the Kuwait News Agency.”kuna“.
And local media indicated that the late artist suffered a health setback during the past few days, as he was suffering from chronic diseases.
Singer Abdel Qader presented hundreds of songs in 47 albums, which he started with the song “Ajr Al Sawt”, which was popularized in 1988.
The late artist relied on his singing journey on his talent, as he began his working life as an employee in the Ministry of Interior, worked in customs and then in the Ministry of Information before his retirement.
And he won many Arab awards, including: the bronze disc award at the Cairo Music Festival for the song “Jamr Al-Wada’”, and the award for the best song at the Cairo Festival for the song “Shakhbarak”, and he received many awards in song festivals in several Arab countries.
