The world’s first Type C charging iPhone 12 Pro Max is online

Many iPhone users expect that Apple can abandon the Lightning charging slot and use the current mainstream Type C slot, but Apple often disappoints everyone. The more you expect, the less you do it. The Slovakian technology company DEEP has successfully modified the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max and auctioned it on eBay, a large online shopping platform in the United States.

Modified iPhone 12 Pro Max, tested and fully compatible, works with iTunes, connects to a Mac, and can use an original Apple charger via Type-C to Type-C or Type-A to Type- C line to charge.

The phone is now up for auction on eBay, which kicked off on Thursday and will end on March 6 at 3 a.m. ET. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the world’s second iPhone powered by USB-C, and in November last year, a Swiss student, Ken Pillonel, modified the iPhone X to work with the Type C interface and put it on eBay. Sold to the winning bidder for $86,001, but at the time, the USB-C iPhone X was not updated, nor might it be restored or reset.

Finally, DEEP also uploaded a video of him modifying the iPhone 12 Pro Max. If you are interested, you can watch it:
