"THE WORLD'S 50 BEST RESTAURANTS" ANNOUNCES LIST OF 51-100 FOR 2023

London (ots/PRNewswire) – “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023”, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, today unveils the list of restaurants awarded the 51st to 100th place in the run-up to the annual awards ceremony to be held in Valencia on Tuesday 20th June. In the 21st year of the award, restaurants on five continents will be presented in an expanded ranking, the result of the votes of 1,080 independent authorities from the world of gastronomy, who compile the list of “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023”. , which will be released in just under two weeks.

The 51-100 list includes 12 new entries from 11 different cities, from Quito to Panama City to Istanbul and Paris
The 51-100 list includes restaurants in 22 regions on five continents
15 entries are from Asia, 21 from Europe, six from North America, five from South America and three from the Middle East & Africa
The highest new entry in the 51-100 list is the Mérito in Lima, at No.59

With three new entries from South America, two new cities – Quito and Panama City – make the list for the first time in their history: Quito’s Nuema moved to No.79 and Panama City’s Maito to No.100 chosen. Europe also gets four new additions: the Enrico Bartolini in Milan (No.85), the Kei in Paris (No.93), the Ceto, Mauro Colagreco’s latest opening in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (No.95), and the Ricard Camarena in the host city of Valencia (No.96). The newcomer Fatih Tutak from Turkey makes his debut on the No.66.

Following the launch of the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2022, the region’s gastronomic prominence has continued to rise, with one UAE restaurant ranked 51-100: Ossiano in Dubai (also a new entry on No.87).

Asia boasts three new additions for 2023: the Nusara (No.74) and the Potong (No.88), both in Bangkok, and the Labyrinth (No.97) in Singapore.
