The world of literature has an appointment in Saint-Paul for the Salon du livre péi

The Péi Book Fair is settling in Saint-Paul on October 27, 28 and 29. The event gives pride of place to Péi publishers and authors to promote the diversity and quality of local literary production, during the Creole Week.

The Péi Book Fair is held in Saint-Paul, in the halls of the covered market. For 3 days, the public is invited to discover the actors of péi literature.

During Creole Week and before the end-of-year celebrations, the Salon is also an opportunity for discoveries to be shared.

About fifty publishing houses, distributors and associations will be present on the 26 stands of the show. Like last year, the opening is made to publishing associations and all authors, including self-published. More than 100 authors will be represented.

Eight classes from different primary schools in Saint-Paul, representing nearly 180 students, will also take part in workshops.

The 2022 Vanille Prize will reward three works from Reunion or the Indian Ocean. Illustration, drawing and works of fiction are the three award categories. 13 publishing houses and 24 books by authors from Reunion, Madagascar, Mauritius and Mayotte took part in the 2022 Vanilla Prize.

Each Winner receives an endowment during the award ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, October 27 at 12 p.m.
