Dakar, May 16 (APS) – The World Food Program (WFP) on Tuesday called on G7 countries to promote political solutions to protracted crises, saying conflict remains the main driver of hunger in the world.

The WFP launched this plea 72 hours before the opening in Hiroshima (Japan) of a G7 summit, the group of seven countries presented as the most developed in the world.
