The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum will be held in Davos in late May on these important topics
Xinhua News Agency, Geneva, January 22 (Reporter Chen Binjie) The World Economic Forum released a press release on the 21st saying that the 2022 annual meeting will be held in the Swiss town of Davos from May 22 to 26. This annual meeting will be held offline and will focus on the theme of “Working Together to Rebuild Trust”.
The press release stated that the important topics of the annual meeting will include promoting post-pandemic recovery, tackling climate change, improving future employment and how to use the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution.
“We need to create the mutual trust that all parties really need to accelerate collaborative action and tackle multiple challenges together,” said Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum.
The World Economic Forum stated that it will continue to maintain close communication with the Swiss government, keep abreast of the public health situation in Switzerland in real time, and hold the annual meeting under the premise of ensuring the health of the guests, staff and residents of the host city.
The offline annual meeting was originally scheduled to be held in Davos in January this year, but it was later postponed due to continued uncertainty caused by the spread of the mutated new coronavirus Omicron strain.
