“I will try to sleep at least eight hours,” he said in an interview with LCN.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the weather conditions for the coming weeks, Daniel Velichko remains optimistic for himself and his colleagues.
“People who have taken a campsite somewhere, for sure it might ruin their plans, but with good weather, if it’s not raining too much and if there is no big thunder, people will still have a nice smile, “he says.
The worker-songwriter also intends to take advantage of the next two weeks to go camping, help his parents paint their house and of course: sing!

Despite everything, music remains a hobby for the construction worker, who has gravitated around the Montreal cultural scene for several years.
“When I was younger, I played a bit in bars in Montreal. I didn’t go out of town, but I played almost everywhere and it was very fun,” he says.
“I play guitar with friends, at a barbecue or at a party, but it’s difficult to make a career out of it when you don’t have the contacts,” adds Mr . Velichko.
The latter was however very happy that his musical talents allowed him to grant an interview to LCN.
“My parents are very happy! They are taking me on video. It’s funny!” he says.
