Fishermen and boaters are eager to go on an adventure and sail on the different bodies of water in La Belle Province.
After a two-year hiatus, the Palais des congrès de Montréal is hosting today until 8 p.m. and tomorrow, Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Montreal International Boat Show.
Nearly a hundred exhibitors will occupy a total area of 185,000 sq.ft. The 18,000 visitors expected will be able to admire just over 215 boats on the main floor, including more than fifty dedicated to fishing.
“Our industry has been impacted, like others, by disruptions in the production and supply chain since COVID and the war in Ukraine, sometimes extending lead times to get a boat, but things are picking up and that’s fine. better and better now,” explains with satisfaction the Director General of the Alliance of the nautical industry of Quebec, Josée Côté.
