The National Triangular Women’s T20 Championship will begin tomorrow at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.
3 teams will participate in the tournament to be played in Rawalpindi till December 1. PCB Blasters, Challengers and Dynamites teams will participate in the 10-day tournament.
The final of the event will be played on December 1. A total of 42 women cricketers will participate in the tournament while prizes worth around 17 lakh rupees will be distributed in the event.
The event will be played on a double league basis and the top 2 teams will compete in the final on December 1 based on points.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to live stream this seven-match tournament. All matches of the event will be telecast live on PCB’s official YouTube channel, where coverage will be carried by 9 cameras.
The prize money of the event has been doubled as compared to last year to encourage and motivate women athletes to excel.
PCB Challengers team will defend the title in the event. Muniba Ali, who scored 292 runs in the previous edition and won the Player of the Tournament award, will lead the defending champions in this event.
The winning team of the event will be given a prize money of one million rupees and the runners-up will be given a prize of five lakh rupees.
