Alappuzha ∙ The woman agriculture officer who was arrested in Alappuzha in a fake note case has been shifted to a mental health center. M. Jisha Mole was shifted to Thiruvananthapuram Government Mental Health Hospital. The action is as per the order of the court. Jisha, who was lodged in Mavelikkara Jail, was taken to Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday night. Jisha had said that she had mental problems when she was produced in the court. Jishamole, an agriculture officer, was trapped by the manager who was suspicious regarding the seven Rs 500 notes brought by the merchant at the Alappuzha Convent Square bank branch. According to the complaint of the bank manager, the investigation conducted by the South Police found that these were the notes given to Kunjumon merchant by Jisha’s house servant. Kunjumon handed over counterfeit notes of Rs 3,500 to the trader as the price of the tarpaulin. This money was given to Kunjumon by Jisha.
