On the penultimate day of the OÖ. Gartenzeit, September 23, one of the biggest names in the Austrian music scene will be giving a purely acoustic concert on the Wolfsegg market square: Wolfgang Ambros. His friend of many years, the keyboarder Günter Dzikowski, will be there. Third in the group is Roland Vogl, who complements the arrangements with guitar, bass, ukulele and whatever else he plucks, hits or bows on stage during the program. The concert starts at 7.30 p.m. (admission from 5.30 p.m.).
“Of course it’s a highlight for us,” says Gartenzeit Managing Director Manfred Ettinger. “We have Max the Sax on the Gartenzeit stage on Thursday, September 22nd, the army swearing-in ceremony will take place on Friday, and as a worthy conclusion we have Wolfgang Ambros.” The concert is now almost sold out, says Ettinger happily.
