CD Project Red’s representative open world action RPG ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (herefollowing The Witcher 3)’ has announced the release schedule of the next-generation console version of the title.
‘The Witcher 3’, which is scheduled to be introduced as a next-generation console represented by PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, plans to release a game within the fourth quarter of this year.
Previously, the next-generation console version of ‘The Witcher 3’ was first announced in 2020, and at that time, it was foretold the benefits of free upgrades to the main story and expanded content for existing buyers. After that, the game was planning to release the next-generation console version in the second quarter of this year, but in April it announced the indefinite postponement of the release plan, disappointing fans.
‘The Witcher 3’, which celebrated its 7th anniversary this year, is regarded as one of the representative works of the developer and one of the representative open world action RPGs. As the popularity of the title continues to this day, the news of the release of the next-generation console version in the fourth quarter is expected to attract a lot of attention.
