After several postponements, CD Projekt Red finally announced via Twitter that The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt will release for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 14, 2022 for anyone who owns the game on PC. PS4 and Xbox One will receive a free upgrade, and gameplay footage of this version of the game will be streamed over the next week.
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on modern-day consoles is helmed by Saber Interactive Studio. The team has previously done an unusual job porting The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt to the Nintendo Switch.
The next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming on December 14th, free for everyone who already owns the game.
