Blanes is preparing for the 58th edition of the Recvull Awards, which will be announced on March 13, with two previous events around the text that last year won the Josep Ametller Theater Award, L’aprenenta, original d ‘Ignasi Garcia Barba.
This Saturday there will be a presentation on the first floor of the Catholic Center of Blanes at 12 noon. It will be written by its editor, Alfred Arola, and Pere Anglas, playwright, novelist, actor, theater director and professor, who has written the prologue. The presentation of the book will be completed with a dramatized reading of the first scene of the play by Sandra Font in the role of Mortícia, accompanied by Carles Güell, who will play the character of Charon, and who has also taken care of the direction of the theatrical assembly.
This dramatized reading will be a taste of what can be seen on Saturday March 12 at the Teatre de Blanes, just the day before the reading of the verdict and award ceremony of the Recvll, which will be held in the usual format following the reduced version from last year. The reading will also feature the participation of actress Ester Riera.
