This decision was not easy at first.

Despite the appearance of a common son, the marriage of the actors did not last long. Oleg Strizhenov soon consoled himself in his relationship with his colleague Lionella Skirda. But his ex-wife no longer tried to build a new family.
Lyubov Strizhenova focused on raising her son and daughter from her first marriage. Until the 1980s, the actress actively acted in films, but then she became interested in religion. Every day Strizhenova was filled with a variety of prayers and other obligatory rituals. And in 2008, she even announced to the family that she was leaving for a monastery.
If the eldest daughter Elena immediately supported her mother, then Alexander at first took the news with hostility. However, the director realized how important this was for Strizhenova, and therefore eventually accepted her choice. The whole family was happy for the actress.
“Mom wanted to be closer to God, she went to this decision for a very long time. Therefore, we respect this choice.”– Strizhenov said in past interviews.
Now the 83-year-old actress, who after the tonsure became mother Judith, continues to lead a secluded life in the monastery. But whenever possible, she sees her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
