The White House doctor confirmed Friday that US President Joe Biden underwent surgery to remove a “small” cancerous skin tumor from his chest in February.
Kevin O’Connor said, Friday, that “US President Joe Biden’s biopsy in February confirmed that he had basal cell carcinoma, and all cancerous tissues were successfully removed.”
The White House physician added, “Biden will continue to have dermatological examinations as part of his ongoing health care, but the resection site has recovered and no further treatment is required.”
Doctors announced last month that Biden, 80, was in good health and “fit for work” following a physical examination.
